Direct Access 400cc (A2)
Category 'A2' Full Licence Training
This option is open to all riders of 19 years and over, riders over 24 years of age also have the full category “A” Direct Access as an option.
A2 Direct Access
The candidate must be 19 years of age and have a valid CBT and theory test certificate and take both Module 1 and 2 practical tests.
Staged Full A Licence
The candidate must be at least 21 years of age and have held an A2 licence for a minimum of 2 years. DSA Module 1 and 2 600cc retests will be required.
A valid theory test certificate is always required before taking the first practical motorcycle test and unless taking the progressive access route, a valid theory test certificate is required before taking any subsequent practical motorcycle test.

Looking for your A2 licence? Well now you can with the full on big bike experience!
For all 19 to 24 year olds (or anybody regardless of age), if you’re out there look to pass your A2′ licence, you’ll pleased to know that here at ProBike you can do this with a full-on Z650 experience.
We have a fleet of Kawasaki Z650 motorcycles which allow you to complete your training and test on full-size bikes.
So if and when the time comes for you to upgrade to a Full category “A” licence you will be safe in the knowledge that have already completed the process on the full-size bikes!
