Emergency Stop
Last but not least is the emergency stop; after good observations it's the same bend at the same speed again (in the right direction!!).
You exit the bend in the same way and ride through the two alignment cones and speed trap (there's no swerve this time).
The minimum speed for this exercise is still 32mph (50kph).

As you exit the speed trap the examiner will give you the signal to bring your bike to a stop. You need to bring the bike to a stop, as quickly and efficiently, as you can, safely, taking into account the conditions, so no skidding!!
The main problems here are too much or not enough speed and excessive braking. It's very easy to go too fast (on a 500) and make this more difficult than it needs to be.
At both speed trap events, the Examiner will have noted the speed recorded by the measurement device.
If either or both of the events didn't achieve the minimum speed the Candidate will be advised and asked to repeat the manoeuvre(s) as needed.
You will only be told your actual speed if you ask, if you don't reach the speed during your second run then it's a fail.
Extra faults committed during your second run(s) will be taken into account!!
