Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
CBT is a days Training with us here at Deeside and it's exactly as it says on the tin. It's compulsory so it has to be done to validate your licence, it's basic, the aim is to teach and help you acquire the basic skills you need to ride a motorcycle safely on the road. It's a Training day, not a test, so it's a nice relaxed day.
Module 1 Off Road Test
Here we will build on your basic skills to get you ready for the new Module 1 test. Although the new test is an off road manoeuvres exercise, it's important to understand that to be successful your general riding ability will need to be at quite a high standard!! The whole point of introducing this element of the motorcycle test is to improve riding standards; it's no walk in the park.
Don't worry!! Here at ProBike you are in good hands, we've designed a training program that covers all the bases, your general riding ability will be taken care of by our first two lessons (three for none riders). You will also get a two to three hour session on our dedicated Part 1 mock test site. We are the only Training Centre in the North West able to offer off road mock tests in full, you won't restricted to the odd 20 minute session at the DSA's convenience, if you're lucky!!
Module 2 On Road Test
The next step is to get you ready for the on road practical test. Here we will build on the skills you have gained during your CBT, module 1 training and test.
Making the most of the available time on the bike here is essential, there's a large area of to cover. The next two training sessions will be conducted from our new Chester Office, so there's no time wasted travelling to and from Chester. The new office is situated on Sandy Lane, Chester, directly opposite the Chester Test Centre, we are literally only 50 yards from the main gate, so you're straight out onto the test routes, practicing and polishing your riding skills and familiarising your self with the general area.
