Motorcycles Used at Probike

Yamaha Fazer (Instructor Bikes)

We needed a motorcycle with a design brief that fitted in with the varied needs of our job. The FZ6 Fazer is the bike we felt ticked most of the boxes, for a 600 it's very light and manoeuvrable, its comfortable, economical to run and copes easily about town and in traffic.
The high-revving engine has plenty of horsepower when needed, the handling is supersport-quality and the weather-beating upper fairing protects us against the elements.

Kawasaki ER500

We would describe this bike as the ideal Direct Access motorcycle; the bike develops a maximum 50hp from its responsive 498cc, twin cylinder water-cooled engine. The tubular chassis gives it surefooted handling and dependable performance.
This is the machine that literally hundreds of people learn to ride and pass their test on with us each year. The bike is lightweight and reliable, we can also offer the flexibility of lower seat heights for shorter riders. The ER-5 is equipped with a centre stand as well as side stand so it's easy to see why this bike the is first choice for a variety of riders, from learners and those new to motorcycling, to couriers and commuters.

Honda CG 125

For over 25 years the CG125 has put people on two wheels with dependable performance and exceptional economy. We use the bike because its reliable, robust and trustworthy. Its light weight and smooth power delivery make it the ideal CBT and Part 2 learner machine. Updated in 2004 to include a new powerful front disc brake its easy to see why it has a worldwide reputation for being the most fun learner motorcycle of its size on the market.

Piaggio Zip Scooter

Again we felt this machine suited our needs best, the Piaggio Zip 50 is equipped with a new strong and very smooth four stroke engine, its very stylish and fully equipped, boasting an adjustable dual seat, lockable glove box and under seat helmet bay, catalytic converter, hydraulic disc brake and alloy wheels. The fuel economy is fantastic, with some owners reporting well over 100mpg, almost unheard of with Automatic Scooters.
If this is your first time on a motorcycle we are sure you'll enjoy your CBT day with us riding one of these.
